Palo Alto Chardonnay

This is  a real gem from the USA, a wonderful example of all the best a Chardonnay has to offer. This wine stands out as fresh and fruity. It has hints of pear, citrus, papaya, pineapple and soft vanilla. The palate shows balance and fresh acidity with a slightly sweet finish, This is a great wine to enjoy on it's own.

Lindemans Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a fantastic red wine from Australia, I always make sure I have a bottle of this at home! Cassis and bramble fruit aromas melt with dark fruit notes and subtle spiced oak. On the palate you also get hints of mint and chocolate. It really does taste as good as it sounds. Try this one on its own.

Frontera Pinot Grigio

Not one of the best known Chilean wines but one that is definitely worth checking out. You are getting real value for money here at only €8. It has delicious aromas of fresh pears and apples and this is followed through onto the palate. This is a great wine to serve with some chicken or enjoy it with a selection of soft cheeses.

It really is a wine for all occasions and makes a nice compliment to most dishes, so bring it along next time you're calling into some friends.

Eagle Hawk Merlot

Another really famous label and everytime I see it for less than a tenner I just have to pick up a bottle. It has a vibrant red colour offering cherry and ripe berry aromas. The palate is typically soft with berry and plum flavours throughout making it a very easy drinking wine and an ideal partner with food.
