Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay

Grape Variety: Chardonnay
Country: Australia

A great Chardonnay from one of the most famous wine producers of Australia, this one is from their yellow label range and well worth a go. It's full flavoured with aromas of peach, melon and stonefruits and on the palate you get subtle oak. This is just perfect with any chicken dish and goes with fish too.
Wine of the Week Campo Viejo Tempranillo

Torres Sangre De Torro

Was: €12.95           Now: €10.00

A really good Sauvignon from Chile and from a label you will instantly recognise. Citrus fruit, pears, gooseberry and some tropical fruits make for a fresh, full bodied wine. Pair it with seafood, pasta and poultry dishes.
Wine of the Week Cepas Privadas Sauv Blanc

San Valentino Pinot Grigio

Was: €15.99           Now: €7.99

Grape Variety: Pinot Grigio
Country: Italy

This is a truly great Pinot from Italy and its half price so you have no excuse not to try it. Pale straw colour with delicate floral aromas with a hint of citrus. On the palate it is light, crisp and refreshing with a citrus fruit note. Try with pasta or seafood.
Wine of the Week Castellani Arbos

Château Pey la Tour Réserve Bordeaux Supérieur

Was: €19.99           Now: €9.99

Grape Variety: Bordeaux Grape Blend
Country: France

Another wine from SuperValu at half price, this one is incredible value for what you are getting. It has intense flavour with red berry fruit, raspberry and wild blackberry aromas. The fruit on the palate gives this wine stunning balance. This can easily be drunk on its own but will go down well at any dinner party.
Wine of the Week Barefoot Merlot

Two Islands Sauvignon Blanc

Was: €14.00           Now: €11.00

Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Country: New Zealand

Another great Sauvignon from New Zealand to add to the long list, it is the perfect climate for growing this variety. A little bit over my €10 mark but worth it. A fresh and vibrant wine showing ripe fruit and citrus notes. This wine has a crisp and refreshing finish.
Wine of the Week Luis Felipe Sauv Blanc

Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon

Was: €11.99           Now: €9.50

Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Country: Australia

A wine that has really proved a big hit with wine consumers, and if you've tasted it you'll see why. This has violets, cassis, crushed herbs and a long soft finish with plenty of concentration. This is a lovely wine to have sitting on the couch watching the TV on a Friday night. Perfect!

Turner Road Reserve Chardonnay

Was: €17.00           Now: €8.50

Grape Variety: Chardonnay
Country: USA

Look at the price of this wine?? Unbelievable value for an absolutely classic wine. This Chardonnay offers aromas of fresh apple, pear and bright lemon notes with just the right touch of vanilla oak. Enjoy it on it's own or paired with grilled seafood and rich pasta dishes.

Wine of the Week Brancott Sauv Blanc

Five Climates Shiraz

Was: €15.99           Now: €7.99

Grape Variety: Shiraz
Country: South Africa

We're really spoiling you with the half price wine this week and Tesco have this Shiraz at an incredible €8. Savoury sour dark  berried fruit, complemented by soft oak flavours make this wine a real winner. Pair with some steak or BBQ red meat.
