Swipe through the deals below.

Wine of the Week Cepas Privadas Sauv Blanc

La Croisade Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Was: €17.99           Now: €8.99

Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Country: France

This a great wine and one I have forked out the full price on a few occasions. SuperValu have at half price  which is unbelievable and I've stocked up already. Luscious ripe, gooseberry fruit flavours all with a crisp Granny Smith bite of acidity make this the prefect wine for all occasions.
Wine of the Week Castellani Arbos

Finca Labarca Rioja Reserva

Was: €15.99           Now: €12.00

Grape Variety: Tempranillo
Country: Spain

A Spanish Reserva that is a bit over my budget but I would gladly recommend this any day of the week, you won't be disappointed. Black fruit aromas with a hint of mint and a cocoa, fruity and rich with a spice kick which should be enough to allow it to match with beef curry or perhaps lamb rogan josh from the local takeaway.
Wine of the Week Barefoot Merlot

Yellow Tail Pinot Grigio

Was: €11.99           Now: €9.50

Grape Variety: Pinot Grigio
Country: Australia

The Pinot in this range is one of the best to come out of Australia and the price is nicely below the €10 mark. This wine shows classic characters of nashi pear, green apples and floral notes with a hint of pineapple. It's a wonderful compliment to some soft cheese or a light salad dish.
Wine of the Week Luis Felipe Sauv Blanc

Monastier Shiraz

Was: €12.99           Now: €9.00

Grape Variety: Shiraz
Country: France

This Shiraz from the Languedoc region is only sold in Dunnes and I would recommend you take the trip to your nearest store. This is brimming with ripe plum and damson fruit that lead to a vibrant and rich palate. This is definitely one for a Saturday night in front of the telly.

Oceans Edge Pinot Grigio

Was: €16.00           Now: €8.00

Grape Variety: Pinot Grigio
Country: Australia

This is another Pinot from Australia that makes it onto the list this week. This fruity dry wine has flavours of green apples and pears with hints of peaches and apricots leading to a long crisp finish. Serve as an aperitif or with shellfish and green salads.

Wine of the Week Brancott Sauv Blanc

Turner Road Reserve Merlot

Was: €17.00           Now: €8.50

Grape Variety: Merlot
Country: USA

One of the best American Merlots I have had in a very long time and I can't believe they are selling it at half price, get down there quick. This has vibrant, jammy aromas of plums and red cherries and a soft lingering finish. These fruit flavours are complimented by just a hint of sweet, toasty oak and make it a great match for grilled steak and BBQ chicken.
Wine of the Week Campo Viejo Tempranillo

Casillero Del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc

Was: €12.50           Now: €10.00

Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Country: Chile

This probably the best known label from Chile and they really do deliver a consistent and quality wine every time. Citrus fruit, pears, gooseberries and tropical fruits give this Sauvignon a wonderful aroma and taste. Very fresh, full bodied with a long mineral and citric persistence.
Wine of the Week Campo Viejo Tempranillo

Claude Val Organic Rouge

Was: €14.00           Now: €11.00

Grape Variety: Grenache
Country: France

This is an organic wine from France that is proving to be very popular, the normal retail price is reasonable for what you are getting but with the discount I would have to say you need to try it. Smooth and medium-bodied with deliciously intense blackberry, vanilla and hints of woodsmoke. Delicious with grilled meat or tomato based dishes.
